The application of  primer is extremely important on both interior and exterior surfaces. It is essential to choose proper primer for the painting process and to apply it correctly. The application of primer is directly related to paint’s lifetime. No matter how high is the quality of the paint applied on the surface its useful life is not going to be long without a previously applied primer.
Although primer seems to be an extra cost for the consumers it decreases the consumption rate of paint thus also provides saving.
Primers’ ability to stick to the surface increases the adherence of paint. It is wrong to substitute primer with previously applied lime, because lime does not possess the ability to stick to surface. Wrong applications shorten paints’ duration period.
