Mold
Black, grey or brown point stains on painted or pasted surfaces.
Reasons:
It occurs on humidity tending surfaces as well on the surfaces without direct
sun shine exposure (Walls facing to the north and eave backs are more risky
areas).
-Unproper primer layer was performed before the paint layer.
-Applying the paint on a surface with mold.
-Using water absorbing low quality paint.
Solutions:
To detect the mold , drop normal hypochloride (used for house hold). If
the color changes to white, it is mold. Using diluted bleacher (1 part bleacher
/ 3 part water), rubber glove and protecting glass, the mold may be removed
by rubbing.
And the surface should be rinsed. Washing hard is an other alternative.
The surfaces should be coated primer followed by one or two mold resistant
high quality paint layer.
